About The Artwork
What started as a musing on a dystopian world evolved into a delve into my subconscious. My friend Guillaume took me on a Gestalt therapy journey in my studio at the end of 2021. The result was a newfound clarity on a painting I'd created - it depicted me and my brother Denis in the wake of our father's passing. The bull's cold anger, the pig's sadness, and the mournful black flowers all snapped into place, painting a picture of grief
